OHS CONSTRUCTION INDUCTION (GREEN CARD) This course aims to familiarise participants with basic principles of OHS in the construction industry to assist in the prevention of injury and illness at work. Course content: OHS responsibilities at the workplace, outline of responsibilities of supervisors, consultation at the workplace, OHS information at the workplace, identifying safety signs, function of work method statements, principles of Risk Management, reporting mechanisms for unsafe conditions and accidents/incidents, role and function of OHS committees, emergencies and First Aid requirements, Workers' Compensation and Injury Management, overview of common industry hazards and personal protective equipment.
